Torres I

Las torres de vigía y defensa que bordean la costa de Menorca, se usaban para prevenir de posibles ataques. Esta torre de la foto fue construida en 1798 y se llama Torre d'en Penjat, "Penjat"  en catalán significa "ahorcado".

The defence towers are found along the coastline, they were prepared to face any possible attack.
This one in the picture was built in 1798 and it is called Torre d'en Penjat, "Penjat" means "hanged".

Lluvia - Rain

Esta semana ha llovido mucho. Fijaros en esta pequeña playa, Cala Alcaufar, al sur de Menorca. Hay un torrente natural detrás de la playa y debido a la lluvia se ha llevado toda la arena. Por cierto, la primera foto no la he hecho yo.

This week it has poured with rain. Take a look at this small beach, Cala Alcaufar, on the south of Menorca. There is a small torrent behind the beach and due to the rain all the sand has been removed. By the way, the first picture is not mine.
